RESPECTED MADAM,
Warm regards to you. This letter is coming from the heart and not from the head.
First of all Anita and me would like to thank you for the upbringing you have given our son Vivek during the past 14 years in your esteemed institution and also with your personal involovement. I hope that he can repay this debt to you by showing the world the values and the culture that he has inbibed from you.
I hope and pray that Vivek’s and Akash’s children too get an opportunity to mould their childhood in your institution.

PARENTAL VISION
2002
- 2003
:::: I am proud to have
this opportunity because I always wanted to give a piece of mind about
the school.
I brought my son Bharat into school with lots of ifs and buts (he is a
boy with learning difficulties). But this school has proved that a TEAM
(Teachers And a Mother) together can make anything possible for
a child with learning difficulties. The school has given me the idea of
a balance between competition and progressive education. The credit goes
to the Management of the School, which has made everything possible.
In 1996 education in a regular school to my son was a distant dream. But
after 7 years of association with the school, he is almost close to normal
and is able to compete in the normal stream of education. Thanks a lot!
Thanks for everything! I wish the school many more such achievements and
academic successes.
With tears of joy, Chitra (Parent of Bharat,
Std V).
As
I reflect over the past five years of my association with the school,
I am flooded with memories of the correspondent and teachers, who have
shown so much compassion, commitment and dedication. My son who is hearing
impaired has given me moments of despair, but the encouragement and kind
words of the correspondent and the teachers have dispelled it and renewed
faith and has made a great difference in our lives. The overall development
of the child is taken care and I hope this gesture continues for a long
time and boost the morale of the students.
A class for teachers and students was conducted by Dr.
Ronald Brouillette and Mrs. Rhodora Brouillette, which had made them understand
the difficulties faced by such children.

As
parents of two children, we are proud that our decision to enroll them
in Vidhya Niketan has never let us down!.
Our younger daughter, who is nor Std IX, joined this, institute in LKG
when the entire strength of the students body was 27! Our older son joined
in Std VII and graduated with flying colors!
The support and encouragement extended towards children who have a special
talent outside the realm of academics and assurance from the school that
the latter will not be compromised while pursuing the former, is commendable.
The most prominent feature of the school is that each child is treated
as an "individual" with strengths and weaknesses that are mutually
exclusively of one another. They are given the opportunity to realize
their potential to its maximum possible extent, always keeping this essential
phenomenon in mind.
May as many children that can, benefit from this school in the way that
our two have been fortunate to have.

It was in the year 1995 that we moved to Coimbatore and we had to look
for a good school to put our son in class II. We were recommended Vidhya
Niketan by a mutual friend. Our initial reaction upon seeing the school
and premises was a disappointing one and we assumed that this is not what
we wanted for our child. But the adage, "don't judge the book by
its cover", came true after we met the correspondent Mrs Rajini Krishnamurthy
, who explained her concept of education for the children along with all
the future plans she had for the school. We immediately admitted our son
in class II and since then our second son has also joined the school.
Our sons are now in the 11 th and 6th respectively and we are absolutely
proud of the way the school has nurtured, educated and developed their
personalities. It is without doubt the instigating efforts of the correspondent
and all the teachers who put in their very best to ensure that their words
grow in all respects rather than academicals alone.
We wish to congratulate Vidhya Niketan on its exemplary success in the
field of education and wish them the very best in the years to come in
the firm belief that this school is going to be "THE" premium
school in Coimbatore in the very near future.

PARENTAL VISION (2003 – 2004)
Kudos to the students, staff and correspondent of Vidhya Niketan Matriculation
Higher Secondary school, for their excellent presentation and performance
of the club activities started in the school. Our child, master S.Ashwin
Karthik, VI B had participated in the drama. He had never acted in any
drama before. It was the first time he appeared on stage. Because of the
club activities he gained confidence and built self-esteem. It was a god
experience. Mixing with his classmates and also his seniors outside the
class room, gave him a chance to deviate from the tedium of everyday life.
It helped build his speaking skills.
The practice and guidance given by the teaching staff was also excellent.
They moulded the students in a short period of time and got the desired
result. We appreciate them for their encouragement support and efforts.
Our heart felt thanks to one and all for their help and effort in improving
performance. The encouragement and personal involvement of the correspondent
madam was highly motivating. Thank you madam for your enthusiasm and courage.
The club activities provide opportunities for students to enjoy their
hobbies, improve particular skills and discipline themselves in the process.
These activities matures the child as it often combines complex mental
and physical process into a single activity. All the performances on stage
and craft work displayed infront of the stage at Nani Kalaiarangam were
well done and brought out the skills of the students.
We wish that the school carries forward and continues with these activities
in the coming years.

We believe that the English language occupies a central place in the school
curriculum because it is the medium of learning all the other subjects.
It is the primary and most frequently used means of communication and
contributes significantly to the growth of individual personality. Hence
it is important to help children gain command over language by providing
a variety of experience. One such experience is the Cambridge young learners
course conducted by the university of Cambridge in our school premises.
Language refers to the skills used in expressing and communicating ideas.
It involves the two "TAKING IN" processes i.e. "reading
and listening" and the "GIVING OUT" processes i.e. "speaking
and writing". The children were trained in all four aspects by very
efficient teachers. There were three key levels of assessment, starters,
movers, and flyers. My son also under went this course as a starter. Work
sheets and test prepared by teachers was excellent. It has developed in
my son the accuracy in the use of English, spoken and written. He is able
to use it in a variety of contexts – everyday communication study,
expressing ideas and opinions.
"THE PERSON WHO CAN MAKE HARD THINGS EASY IS THE EDUCATOR" and
that is the correspondent of our school Mrs. Rajini Krishnamurthy. We
do thank her for conducting such courses in the school premises
