THEATRE:
Theatre and poetry reading form an integral part of co- curricular activities at Vidhya Niketan. Being initiated by the Theatre group of Chennai our children have mastered the art of poetry reading. Two public shows were held the first one was in Coimbatore. The show “The Return of Gandhi” was staged in the amphi theatre which won a standing ovation from the public of Coimbatore. The children were trained to stage a show in Chennai, the cultural city of our state. The play "… from our shadows" was staged in the Music Academy Mini Hall, honoured by the presence of Mr. M Saravanan and Family and the aghast gathering of Principals, parents and special invitees. Scripts for all these plays were contributed by the children.

Tarang, the cultural fiesta conducted by the Rotaract club of PSG CAS is one event which we look forward to every year . It has varied events which tests not only the intellectual but also the myriad talents of a student. Our school has been the proud overall champions for the past two years. PAATSHALA:
The literal meaning of Paatshala is ‘School’, but for the students of Vidhya Niketan it is a talent fest. It all started when two minds Vamsi and Gaurav (2009 batch) got together and came up with the idea of a talent fest to bring out the hidden talents of our students and to enable each one to participate in an event of their choice. Few of the competitions are Chota Chef, Junky Funky, Bulletin Express, Sizzling Salads, Dance on Beats, Happy Feet, Roses & Petals etc. The entire show is planned, organized and executed by the SPLs team of volunteers. The certificates, invitations & T Shirts designing, arranging and cleaning the class rooms etc. is all done by the students with great enthusiasm. For the third consecutive year, Paatshala was conducted in great style.
